OPA/JERSEY BOYZ 2007 AWARDS DINNER
Come join us for a dinner cruise around Manhattan, New York on February 23rd, 2008 for the OPA High Points Champions Awards Banquet. Nicole Hart and the NRG band will once again be wailing out tunes for your enjoyment. Who knows, maybe there will be some OPA rockstars coming out of hiding again! The fee includes OPEN BAR, full dinner, and cruise.
We will be boarding the World Yacht Princess on Saturday Night, February 23rd at 6:30 PM. Please be on time! The cruise will last from 7pm-11pm. The dock for boarding the cruise boat is right behind the Hyatt Hotel at 2 Exchange Place in Jersey City, New Jersey. It's not too late to buy tickets for this event. We are not sending out tickets but we will have a list of paid attendees at the door.

Wow!!!!!!!! What a Party!!!!!! On February 10th, the place to be was The Sawmill Cafe in Seaside Heights, NJ for the 2007 OPA Winter Awards Dinner! Teams traveled for near and far to be in attendance. Not only was there butler style appetizers, but the buffet Main Course was superb! Our master of ceremonies, Ed "Smitty" Smith, with some help from the the Jersey Boyz' Augie Pensa and Kevin Hans, knew exactly what to say and make the night move smoothly with lots of laughs!
Also invited were Shore Dreams For Kids directors and AMF Offshore to attend the OPA Winter Awards Dinner in Seaside Heights to accept AMF’s very generous donation that was raised for their raffle. On hand to receive the check on behalf of Shore Dreams For Kids were Rob Cline, Geralyn Monroe and Dave Patnaude which was presented by Scott Begovich, Chief Savering & Marc Granet. The final donation amounted to $10,604.00!
OPA stepped it up a notch this year and hired the awesome band "Nicole Hart & The NRG Band"www.TheNRGBand.com. And little did we know that we had a few rockstars (Louie Giaconttieri, Jeff Cropper) within the organization that got up and Jammed on stage with The NRG Band.

| It was so great being able to provide entertainment to you fellas at the OPA 2007 Winter Party...You guys KNOW how to party! We all had a lot of fun, and would love to provide music for your future events. Please do keep us in mind...if you would like us to do any other Tri-State parties, such as Patchogue, or even the show in Michigan, I'm sure we can work it out, and we'd be honored to do it.
I checked out the Jersey Boyz site...definitely looks like you boys know how to have FUN. I loved seeing all the powerboats. Please do include us for any future events, and I would consider it an honor to ride out in one of the powerboats sometime!

| It's that time of year again for a 2007 Winter Awards Party where the high points chmpion will be receiving the coveted "Stuggots Cup". The party is being held at The Sawmill Cafe, 1807 Boardwalk, Seaside Park, NJ 08752. If you need to call the Sawmill, call at 732-793-1990. If you need to reserve a room in Seaside you can call the Holiday Inn in Toms River at 732-244-4000 for reservations. The rate is $99.00 a night.. Make sure you indicate that you are from the OPA and you will get that special rate of $99. There are some other hotels such as Howard Johnson's at 732-244-1000 and The Hershey Hotel at 732-793-5000 also located in Toms River. Please make sure check the amount of guests that are coming to the left of this text along with yourself so we have a headcount for food. We will be serving butler stye appetizers and a main course. We will be collecting $40.00 a person at the door. The times for the party are 4-6pm for Boat Racer Registration. From 5-6pm we will have a Racers Only drivers meeting. And from 6-10pm is the party which includes food and a live band all for $40.00 a head. Please make sure you have all of the paperwork filled out in its entirty and bring to registration. There is only a one time yearly registration fee of $500 per boat. There is also a $100 Individual OPA Memebership fee which is not only for racers.
