In a letter from APBA:
Congratulations! As co-chairs of the APBA Hall of Champions Committee, we are pleased to inform you that you have earned APBA's highest racing honor for your accomplishments in the Offshore category in 2015. This says a great deal about you, your team, your skill and dedication to the sport. We are proud to have you carry on the 40 year Hall of Champions tradition.
OPA Racing would like to congratulate this year's APBA Hall of Champions inductees.

WHAT IS THE HALL OF CHAMPIONS
The Hall of Champions was established by the APBA in 1974 to recognize and distinguish its most outstanding drivers from each season. The APBA annually inducts drivers from its categories of racing into this prestigious group. Membership in the Hall of Champions is limited to those drivers who have an extraordinary racing season during the previous year. The induction ceremony is held the following year at the APBA's Annual Meeting. Drivers receive a plaque and jacket at the induction ceremony, and may enter the Hall multiple years.
How do I get into the APBA Hall of Champions?
Each racing category has specific criteria for entry into the Hall of Champions.
In order to qualify for consideration for the APBA Hall of Champions (HOC), an offshore team (driver and throttleman) must win a national high point championship (minimum of four APBA sanctioned races) or a divisional high point championship (minimum of three APBA sanctioned races).
Among the teams that are qualified for possible inclusion in the HOC two members (driver and throttleman) shall be selected from the SS classes and two members (driver and throttleman) shall be selected from the Performance Classes. Candidates must be from the same team, racing in the same boat. Substitute drivers or throttlemen are not eligible for induction to the HOC. The award is bestowed on drivers and throttlemen only.
